I'm Nandhini, Chief Mentor & Founder of MerakeeMentor. After a 20+ yr career in Tech, HR and Senior Leadership, and my recent stint in Academia, I've come full circle. I wish to share my experiences and knowledge to as many students as I can. MerakeeMentor is a community that will inspire & unleash your full potential!

We give equal weightage to Technical and Behavioral Competencies while hiring freshers. We may hire a candidate whose attitude and personality we like, but lacks a bit of technical depth. However, we will never hire a candidate with behavioral red flags, even though the student shows technical brilliance.
We usually look for a student with great attitude and passion, highly effective communication skills and a likeable personality among other things. Depending on the company culture, the degrees of these expectations change.
Continuing from Internship to Full Time Employment rests wholly on the student. Many times we are ready to work and scale them up technically but have little patience for behavioral traits that don't suit our culture.
